I think this whole “issue” is stupid. I’m not going to tell someone who they can or can’t love. Coming from a family full of lies, betrayal and divorce, I think marriage should be defined as being between love and love, not between a penis and a vagina. Sorry if that’s not cool with you.
How do you word “get your shit together” so that it’s not so crushing? Or does that go against the whole point of the phrase?
I don’t think it’s fair for the world to tell children that they can do or love or be whatever and whoever they want, but then go on to judge them when they grow up and actually do so.
